Spring is here – finally! Here in the Northeast, it’s been a LONG winter – I thought it was just me, being a transplanted Southerner, but everyone I talk to comments on how the winter has dragged on and on. As I look out my window everyday; I see more and more color outside, which makes me want to brighten up inside as well.
Our kids are ready for playing outside all day and dining al fresco every chance they get. I’ve been Spring Cleaning both inside and out, getting rid of clothes and toys we’ve outgrown. On the list this weekend are cleaning our patio furniture and weeding our flower beds. My husband put in a fabulous tree swing last Fall which attracts a lot of kids in the neighborhood and has wreaked havoc on our lawn. We’ll be aerating our lawn this weekend as well, so we can seed and fertilize in hopes of a lush, green lawn – that’s a hard one to fill since our yard seems to be the neighbor hood playing field.

Since our thoughts are turning to dining outside, I have been looking for non-breakable trays, plates and other accessories. It’s always a challenge to carry the food to the table and I love the customizable lucite trays from our design partners, Boatman Geller and Dabney Lee – you can customize these trays with many of the patterns seen on their email stationery at MeebleMail.com and customize them with your monogram – just like your email stationery. Two of my favorites are:
Lucite Service Tray from Boatman Geller, $115
Dabney Lee Personalized Large Lucite Tray, $130
A few other items on my list for the summer are an acrylic or lucite ice bucket and fun colorful coasters that I can use indoors or outdoors. Our email stationery design partners, Boatman Geller and Dabney Lee also offer some great options:
Lucite Ice Bucket from Dabney Lee – Rock Lobster Pattern, $60.00. Drink Coasters, featuring wave shell pattern, $85.00
It’s also time to brighten up our outdoor seating – I am in love with these gorgeous, bright pillows from Trina Turk (yes, another of our fabulous email stationery design partners). Prices range from $52.00 to $200.00 per pillow.

What are you planning to do to add some color into your life this Spring?
When I started my first business in the 1990s, I was so excited to get my official letterhead, envelopes and business cards – I loved creating the designs, selecting the paper and getting them printed. It was a critical part of creating the look and feel for the company. As businesses have become digital, those paper letters of yesterday have turned into email.
MeebleMail.com is now offering custom email letterhead or email stationery for bloggers, small businesses or anyone interested in building a personal brand. Every email you send is a reflection of you, your blog or your company – and if it’s a blank white canvas – it’s a missed opportunity to promote your brand. MeebleMail can work with you to create a design that coordinates with the rest of your branded materials – from your logo to your website to printed brochures. Whether you are a sole proprietor or a business with many employees, we can customize your email letterhead with the contact information for each employee.
MeebleMail’s custom email stationery can be designed for any of the popular web-based and desktop email clients, including Outlook and Apple Mail. Prices start at $149.99. For more information, send an email to email@example.com.
